Congratulations to our four u18 Girls who represented Surrey on Sunday November 26th vs Middlesex at Grasshoppers RFC.
The composer Rossini wrote about Wagner’s music, ‘Beautiful moments but awful quarters of an hour’. This looked as though it would be a fair summation of the AXV’s performance at KCS on Saturday, but somehow the boys turned what was heading towards a damp squib into a spectacular firework display.

Saturday Old Reigatian 1st XV host Rochester based Medway RFC. After the successful trip to Old Alleynians last Saturday OR’s had only one change with Harrison Mitchell unavailable Finn Coyle returned on the Wing. Saturday was the first Saturday that Old Reigatian played in their new kit sponsored by Reicon. Reicon are a construction company based in Reigate and Old Reigatian are pleased they have chosen to be the main sponsors of the 1st XV.
Saturday Old Reigatian 1st XV travelled to Dulwich to play Old Alleynians. OA’s were promoted last season and have settled in well at Level 6 with 4 wins from 8 games Saturday morning the same record as Old Reigatian. Reigatian went in to the game missing their Captain Reilly Franklin-Talbot who has been ever present this season and the talisman Max Coyle. The Squad knew that a strong performance would be required to get a Win on the road and this had to be for 80 minutes with the performance fading in recent weeks.

Bethany Willars from our u18 Girls excelled in her Harlequins Centre of Excellence fixture vs Exeter Chiefs in an emphatic 77-0 victory. Well done Bethany. We’re super proud of you.
Following the deluge of the previous week, the sun shone at Park Lane, giving opportunity for an entertaining game of rugby, which is what spectators and players alike were afforded. Although the weather was fine, a picnic was never on the cards, and the question would be whether the previous two victories had been a false dawn or the start of our journey forwards.
