As the league season nears its conclusion OR’s sit in second place in the league just 2 points behind Battersea Ironsides and with the mouthwatering prospect of meeting league leaders Ironsides away on Saturday 17th February 2024.
There are just 5 remaining league fixtures, 2 of which are home fixtures, vs Alleynians on Saturday 2nd March 2024 and Gravesend on Saturday 23rd March 2024. There are pre match lunches, but you would need to book early as these are likely to sell out – details on the website or from Tim Bostel.
Ours is a very talented side with outstanding backs and they play a very attractive brand of rugby. We have the most try bonus points in the league. We are playing at the highest level that the club has ever achieved and are now within touching distance of achieving promotion.
It would be hugely appreciated by the players if we can generate additional support on the touchline and spectators would be warmly welcomed at Battersea Ironsides Ground at Garratt Green (on the B229) for Saturdays fixture.
