Senior Women’s Rugby

We have a group of around 50 Women, and varying numbers of them meet every Saturday morning and Wednesday evening to play Touch Rugby and have a giggle.

There are no requirements from a knowledge, or skills point of view.  We will teach you everything from scratch – although if you have played before, you will fit in just as easily.

What to wear? There are no requirements for kit (except for decency reasons), but we have a club shirt if you feel like you want to. Footwear is a little more important, but largely just to keep you on your feet (as opposed to your bum) – during the summer, trainers are generally fine but during the winter, or when it is raining, something with studs is a huge help as the grass / mud can get a little slippery.

We are gradually building a capability to play Contact Rugby (as our girls get older) but this is only for those that want to have a go.
