What a bragging list.<\/p>\n<ul style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<li>117. The number of players in the section. It&#8217;s the second-largest\u00a0section nationwide. Remember, it\u2019s just 12 years since David McGuigan made the tentative steps in offering girls&#8217; rugby.<\/li>\n<li>27 coaches<\/li>\n<li>Across the section, we were involved in 85 friendlies, festivals, and competitive fixtures. That\u2019s just 1 less than last season, despite the increased number of postponements due to pitch conditions and poor weather<\/li>\n<li>Our roll call of successes this season is so impressive. Are you ready for this\n<ul>\n<li>Reigate &amp; Banstead Borough Council 2024 Sports Club of the Year (Girls section specific)<\/li>\n<li>U12 Surrey Shield Winners<\/li>\n<li>U14 Surrey Runners Up<\/li>\n<li>U16 Surrey Champions and last 16 in the National Cup<\/li>\n<li>U18 National Cup Regional Runners Up<\/li>\n<li>u23 Surrey Champions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<li>5 of our U18 girls have been selected for Scotland trials, with 2 making their international debuts this season<\/li>\n<li>1 of our U18 players has represented the Irish Exile U20 team<\/li>\n<li>3 of our U18 girls are representing England Touch<\/li>\n<li>1 of our U16 players has represented Jamaica UK 15\u2019s and 7\u2019s teams<\/li>\n<li>3 of our U18 have played within the Surrey, Kent &amp; Sussex Player Development Group (PDG) all season<\/li>\n<li>16 of our girls have represented Surrey at the U16 and U18 levels<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Gallery in order &#8211; Our TREDS winners and honourable mentions, Our Most Improved winners and honourable mentions, Players&#8217; Player winners and honourable mentions,\u00a0 Coaches Player winners and honourable mentions, Smith Cup volunteer award winner Ann Stout, Section Chair wearing his awarded club blazer flanked by two of his daughters!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Friday 23rd saw our fabulous section gather for our end-of-season awards jolly.
