The Role<\/strong><\/p>\n

To take responsibility for being the point of contact for league and cup fixtures and arranging friendly matches for all of the adult teams at the club and ensuring the fixtures provide the right standard of rugby for the teams.<\/p>\n

Key aspects of the role<\/strong><\/p>\n

Coordination of fixtures.<\/em>
\na. Work with the RFU Competitions Secretary to publish and distribute all seniors fixtures and arrange suitable fixtures if League games are cancelled
\nb. Coordination of a group of volunteers to arrange manage fixtures, if applicable
\nc. Work with DoR or senior coaches to arrange postponed fixtures
\nd. Confirm the Referees for senior matches have correct details of travel and kick off times<\/p>\n

Ensure information is distributed to relevant parties.<\/em>
\na. Ensure that the relevant lists are supplied to the RFU, Referees Societies and other relevant agencies for any non-league games
\nb. Ensure all changes to matches are communicated internally to ALL relevant people
\nc. Confirm the fixtures with opponents the week before the game
\nd. Provide opposition with kick-off times, directions to the ground etc<\/p>\n

Dealing with any unexpected problems that arise<\/em>
\na. Deal with match cancellations and finding new fixtures
\nb. Handle any fixture queries throughout the season<\/p>\n

Is this role for you?<\/strong> If you are enthusiastic, patient, well organized and conscientious, with a familiarity with the club and its vision and strong communication skills, you could be the source of all knowledge about upcoming matches, keeping the season alive and on schedule.<\/p>\n
