A spirited performance on Sunday saw the Under 15 A team score the same number of tries as Reeds Weybridge but ultimately lose their first Waterfall Cup game by 22-17.
This was the best performance from the team for a while, with some sublime rugby at times. The team were well supported by a mix of mini stragglers from the earlier session, under 14s and enthusiastic (but very well behaved) parents and put on a good show.
Some stand out performances from Ollie Burnett (a tackling and jackling machine), Bennett with some powerful running and Lucas Westley with a Beauden Barrett’esque chip and chase. As a whole though, the team showed signs of gelling together and putting the training into practice.

Plenty to work on (assisted by the video footage from the VEO – thanks Carl), but very much enthused and buoyed by a strong performance.
