A Pathway to Pro Rugby for ORRFC Girls

A glimpse into the Brunel / Ealing Trailfinders Acadamy for ORRFC girls wanting to get into elite women’s rugby after college/sixth form. Six ORRFC girls got scholarships in 2022 and one more has been offered in 2023 (starting in August 2023). Hopefully, there will be more in 2024. Commentary by Laila Hassan an ORRFC player.

ORRFC Girls Victorious with England at the European Junior Touch Championships

Huge congratulations to ORRC players Chloe Hill, Tilly Palmer Denning and Oliva Rawlinson for returning to the UK with one silver and two gold medals after representing England at the European Junior Touch Championships held in Vichy, France in August 2022 under blisteringly hot conditions.

National Cup Final: Old Reigatians U15 girls vs Cheltenham North

Being the final game of the season, I’m going to begin this match report with a couple of caveats. Number one. I make no apologies for being overtly biased in Old Reigatian’s (OR’s) favour. Number two. 21 girls had the absolute honour of representing their club today by running out onto the pitch and I hope this report does them the justice they deserve.
