A huge congratulations to Austen F, who has been selected to represent Harlequins U18s this weekend while still an U16.
Austen began his rugby journey in the Old Reigatian minis. He attended RAAS before moving to The Ashcombe School and was first identified by Harlequins at U14.
A naturally powerful athlete, Austen initially tried his hand in the backs, where he enjoyed having space to attack. Under the guidance of the club and former Director of Rugby Richie Andrews, he eventually found his home in the front row at loosehead prop.
In recent years, his strength and power have allowed him to dominate opponents at scrum time. This is a fantastic opportunity and thoroughly deserved.
