It has been discussed that the club could benefit from a utility vehicle to ferry things around the club, as well as for medical support and other tasks that require this. This vehicle would be a ‘Gator’-style vehicle that you would see on golf courses. They are very cool and eye-catching, as you may know yourselves.
The plan is to purchase one of these vehicles and arrange for it to be fully liveried with a sponsor. This is a call out to the membership for a potential partner—we are very much hoping that someone might be able to support this initiative!
Our initial thought is to offer a 3-year package for this. We believe it will be excellent advertising, very visible, and quirky! The headline numbers would be to seek £20,000.00 over the 3 years, and ORs would be responsible for its upkeep and running, any insurances, and, as previously mentioned, the livery detail.
In addition to the obvious visible sponsorship, we would offer the following as part of the package.
Advertising/Branding
- One banner on the fence along the path at the club (the sponsor will cover the cost of banner production and sign).
- Rotating Advert on screens inside the clubhouse
- Mini Advert in some match day programmes throughout the season
Social media coverage
- Sponsor link on the ORRFC website.
- One bespoke social media message per month (sent to our members with content and timing coordinated between the sponsor and the ORRFC social media team)
Display stand at ORRFC Festivals
A stand at the minis/juniors festivals at ORRFC (sponsor to staff the stand) – to be confirmed for next season, but likely to be :
- U16 or Colts finals day (32 clubs from across Surrey). 800 attendees
- Surrey U11s Festival (40 teams from across Surrey). 1250 attendees
Entertainment/networking/staff inventive
- Table for eight people at a supporter’s lunch before a seniors game on a Saturday next season (Sept 25-May 26)
